Great customer service!

These guys are awesome! They were honest and didnt recommend a repair that I thought I needed. David was awesome and went out of his way to help!

They were wonderful! I went in for an oil change and ended up needing new tires. Their prices were comparable to other places and then included new brake rotors for no extra charge! After, something wasn't running correctly with my car and I had to bring it in the next day and the mechanic gave me his own car to drive to work. They fixed and got everything working for no additional cost. They wanted to make sure my car was running as good as it should be! Very nice people. Absolutely going to go back and I feel as if I can trust them to not rip off someone who doesn't know a lot about cars (me).

First time taking my truck here and curious about the polarized opinions. I arrived at opening and Chris met with me first thing. I was trying to figure out how I was going to get to work from the shop, but before even noticing my predicament, Chris offered to drive me a couple miles down the road to work. So far, definite points for customer service. Later today, Chris called me to let me know of a couple things: 1) The job I brought the truck in for was completed same day and within an acceptable cost bracket. 2) There are some other things that are recommended for the truck due to age and mileage. He spoke straight to me and laid out my options including which issues that should take priority for safety sake. This was a low pressure offering and I never felt as if I were being pushed into work that I didn't feel was legit. All said, I feel good about the company, the work so far, and in Chris' case, the employees. I plan to continue to have my vehicle serviced here. I cannot speak to any other review, only my experience. By my experience (even as a natural pessimist), I plan to continue to utilize First Choice Automotive, Knoxville. Everything I've seen/experienced so far indicates this is a legit operation with a focus on the customer. I have not been compensated for this review. I'm just an average Joe who found himself in a pickle and needed same-day auto service. I based my decision on 2 points - proximity to work and the average user review. That's why I found the reviews so disparaging. Folks seemed to either love or hate this place. I was concerned that maybe the positive reviews had been "padded". Based upon my experience, I found nothing of the sort. I suspect the low reviews are based upon factors other than the actual auto service performed. If you find yourself in the same predicament I was, and wondering if this is a reputable shop or not - I can only share my experience here and say that if it were "my car", I'd drop it off (as I've done) here with the same (or more) trust than I have with any other auto-repair vendor, ever. I hope this helps you make up your mind. Regardless of this review though - car repairs do indeed suck!!! Still better than walking though ;) LOL!

Fixed up a major oil leak problem caused by pepboys. They did great by me and I would highly recommend

I HIGHLY recommend this place! The staff is very helpful and you can definitely trust them not to take advantage or rip you off like so many others. We have taken four of our vehicles to them and have always had a great experience with them. They even inspected EVERYTHING on our daughter's car, gave us a very honest assessment, and didn't charge us a dime for it. They even helped us locate an inexpensive used part online for us when my husband opted to make a minor repair himself. They definitely go above and beyond to offer the best service!

The professionalism and courtesy of the staff go above and beyond! I had to have same day repairs with my 3 children with me, and the entire experience was actually quite pleasant! Private waiting room with clean restroom and Netflix for the kids; staff was very comprehensive in explaining what repairs were needed and what could wait. I have a minivan with a lot of miles on it, but their recommendations were sensible and fair. They even took the time to point out some repairs on real cars to my kids. Thank you!

Todd, John and Mike are an all-star team. This is a newer shop in the area that may be one of the best kept secrets in the Northshore area. They are friendly, convenient, honest, available and deserving of your trust. I have taken both of my cars there several times and they have always done right by me. As a BG service center they have a ton to offer in long-term preventative maintenance.

Took my car here after the local BMW dealership said I had all kinds of oil leaks that needed immediate repair. After Matt showed me the areas the dealer noted with a flashlight, it was clear I had NO oil leaks. Saved me over $3,000.00. Since then I have been a regular here. Always friendly, quality service at a competitive price. Can't ask for anything more than that.
